The Nerf Stampede is an evolution of the Nerf Vulcan but is far lighter and can be carried and fired with one hand (although
probably not by younger kids). The blaster fires three rounds per second in automatic mode, although you can fire single shots – the number of darts fired is determined by the length of time that you press the trigger. The range of the shots is from 25-30 feet which is impressive considering the gun is battery operated, requiring 6 ‘D’ batteries. The gun comes with two primary accessories: a gun shield and a tripod. Both accessories are removable and use the ‘tactical rail’ system meaning they can be used on other guns that have this feature in the Nerf N-Strike line. The Stampede comes with three extended 18 dart clips, a quick-reload 6 dart clip and 60 clip system darts. In addition to the clips provided with the Stampede, you can also use the drum from the Nerf Raider to further increase dart capacity.
